Terms

Terms of use and coaching terms

The terms for using this website and for working with me. Plain words, nothing hidden. Version dated 2 October 2026.

1. Who you are dealing with

V1 Coaching is a trading name of Hadley Investments and Holdings Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 13657207, registered office 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. Email steven@v1coaching.com. When I say I or me in these terms I mean the company, coached by me, Steven Hadley.

2. Using this website

Everything on this site, including guides, emails and articles, is general information about training and nutrition for healthy adults. It is not medical advice and it is not written for your personal circumstances. Before you change how you train or eat, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take prescribed medication, speak to your GP. The content, design and photographs on this site belong to the company or are used with permission. You may read and share links to them. You may not copy, sell or republish them without my written permission.

3. What I offer
  1. 1:1 Coaching. Personalised coaching billed every two weeks, with no minimum term. You can stop at any time by telling me before your next payment date, and no further payments are taken.
  2. The 12 Week Programme. A one off training and nutrition plan built for you from your questionnaire, delivered in the app, paid once. There is no ongoing coaching with it beyond what the programme page describes.
  3. The £500 Money Back Challenge. A fixed length coaching programme, 12 weeks, or 10 weeks for the Christmas start, with a refund you earn by meeting its conditions. Each start has its own terms, linked from its page. If anything in those terms differs from these, those terms win for the challenge.

The pages for each service say what is included. If it is not written there, it is not included.

4. When we have a contract

Your contract with me starts when I confirm your place by email after you have paid, or, for 1:1 Coaching, when your first payment goes through. Everything I need to build your plan comes from your questionnaire, so your plan starts once I have it. If I decide coaching is not right for you before we start, I tell you and refund you in full.

5. Your health and your responsibilities

You confirm that you are 18 or over, that you are fit to exercise or have been told by a doctor that you are, and that the health answers you give me are complete and true. Tell me straight away if anything changes. Stop any exercise that causes pain, dizziness or chest discomfort and seek medical help. I am a qualified coach, not a doctor. I do not diagnose, prescribe, dose or adjust medication or any prescribed protocol, and decisions about those stay with you and your doctor. Train within your ability, use equipment properly and follow the technique guidance in your plan.

6. Paying

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the full amount you pay. Card payments are taken by Stripe or through the Trainerize app, and I never see your card details. If a 1:1 Coaching payment fails, I pause your coaching until it is sorted. I can change my prices for new clients at any time, and I give existing 1:1 clients at least 30 days notice of any change.

7. Cancelling and refunds

Because you buy from me online, you have 14 days from the day after you pay to cancel for any reason, by email to steven@v1coaching.com. If you asked me to start inside those 14 days and I have begun building or delivering your plan, you pay a fair share for what has been delivered and the rest is refunded within 14 days to the card you paid with. For The 12 Week Programme that share is the full price once your plan has been delivered to your app. For the challenge, its own terms set out the daily rate. After the 14 days, 1:1 Coaching can still be stopped at any time as described in section 3, and one off programmes are not refundable because the work has been done. None of this affects your legal rights if a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.

8. Your plan and your results

Your plan, guides and the app content are licensed to you for your own use. Please do not share, copy or sell them. Results depend on what you do with the plan, your starting point and your health, and they vary from person to person. Case studies and testimonials on this site are real clients who agreed to be featured, and they show what those people achieved, not what you are promised. The only guarantee I make is the challenge refund, on the terms of the challenge.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow me to limit. Otherwise I am responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of me breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, and my total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid me in the 12 months before the claim. I am not responsible for loss that comes from training or eating against the guidance in your plan, or from health information you did not give me when asked.

10. Sharing your progress

I only share a photo, quote, result or story about you if you have agreed to that specific use in writing, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time. How I handle your information is in my privacy notice at v1coaching.com/privacy.

11. If something goes wrong

Email me at steven@v1coaching.com. I reply within 5 working days and I would rather fix it than argue about it. If we cannot agree, the courts of England and Wales decide, under the law of England and Wales, and you keep every right you have as a consumer.

12. Changes

I may update these terms for new clients at any time. The version that applies to you is the one on this page on the day you paid, and I will send you a copy if you ask.
